Maritime teams bring us fleet data from many vessels and sensors that rarely agree, navigation-assistance models that must run on board with limited connectivity, and port operations where a small forecasting error costs a berth slot.

How It Connects

Vision models for navigation assistance land in Computer Vision; running them on board in the AI Porting & Deployment Pack; fleet-wide monitoring in the Production AI Monitoring Harness. Autonomy stacks are covered under Autonomous Machines.

We have not published a maritime case study. Tell us about the fleet.

Shipping and Maritime AI FAQ

Can the model run on board with intermittent connectivity?

+

We design for it: the model runs on the vessel's own hardware, measured under the load and power it will see, and syncs results when a link is available rather than depending on one.

Will a model trained on part of the fleet work on the other vessels?

+

We test that directly by holding out whole vessels, not just time periods, and report how far performance drops on a ship the model has never seen.
